B Collective: Same Difference Collection

B Collective are very excited about the launch of our first collection, designed by North East of England artist Corinne Lewis-Ward. We have worked very closely with British Manufacturers to ensure that every product in our Collection are created to the very highest standard.

T-Shirt: Our unisex t-shirts will be available in both black and white. They are 100% Organic Fairtrade Cotton and are offered in sizes Small, Medium & Large.

Cotton Shopper Bag: Each Bag is made from a thick, high quality cotton. It is available in cream or white.

Coffee Cup: Our B Collective coffee cups are double walled, meaning a rubber grip is not needed. Each cup is dishwasher and microwave safe and is BPA free.

About Our Artist & Designer

Corinne Lewis-Ward was born in London and moved to the North East 20 years ago. After studying Photography at the University of Sunderland, she went on to create Powder Butterfly. This is a unique and exciting brand which creates distinctive home and gift wear inspired by British landmarks, including the Angel of The North & the London Eye.

“The Same Difference collection was inspired by an 8 week course that I carried out at The Millin Charity. I worked with a group of dedicated women that are supported by the charity. This gave me a great opportunity to find out about the women and how The Millin Charity has helped them develop skills and their own business ideas. I wanted to create a collection that reflected the women’s individuality, diversity and cultural heritage. Within the design you will see 5 different fabric patterns. These patterns represent my interpretation of an African pattern, an Islamic tile, a liberty floral print, a paisley pattern and some tartan. All of these designs were hand drawn by myself and then transformed into digital files ready for screen printing onto bags, t-shirts and travel mugs. It was an absolute pleasure to work on this project. And I cannot wait to see the next design to be created for such a brilliant initiative.”
