“I was unemployed and spent a lot of my time at home caring for my family. I wanted to be more financially independent. So I joined The Millin Charity’s enterprise programme to start exploring ways that I could do this. I am now running my own cleaning business and absolutely love it.
I have also befriended many women from a variety of cultural backgrounds who have become treasured friends. It has been a great pleasure to have been given such a wonderful opportunity and to watch each woman involved become more confident and to share our journeys together.
